This is my ANZAC letter that I wrote. I imagined that I was a soldier in the trenches of Gallipoli and I was writing to my mother. To get some ideas of what it was like in the trenches I read a part of Captain Charlie May's diary. I learnt that the rats are one of the worst things in the trenches. They crawl all over you when you sleep and they smell bad.
