Kate Sheppard

Today Eric, Oh Hsen, Shannon and I created a google slide DLO about Kate Sheppard. We placed our questions onto a slide and wrote the answers on another slide. We all had a conversation about the learning and read the facts together to put onto our DLO. Some of us gathers our ideas and put them together. What was challenging in this activity was finding the right information to write in our own words.

Into The Book

This Week for reading Ms Anderson showed us this site for reading. There were so meany thing to explore so I chose to pick Monsters to the rescue because as soon I sore the front cover it hooked me in so I read it it got interesting by the minute but then I got stuck on a word native so I thought about it is a person born in a specified place or associated with a place by birth.

Can Do

For reading I did a can do based on an article about a gold toilet at Guggenheim museum in New York that the public were allowed to use if they paid to get into the museum.

Current Events

Today LS2 mad a Current Events DLO and we had to answer all of the questions. We were writing about Nicky Hambin Abby Agoston the American girl how fell two times in the running Olympic Rio games because she was tripped by someone and her knee was badly injured in the race lucky a New Zealander help her get to the finish line. That is great sportsmanship there I hope if that happens again someone will help that person.

NZ Olympics 2016

Today I just finished my 2016 Olympics logo DLO all I had to do is to do was to add a laurel wreaths photo the Olympic circle and a font.

Life wise Big Sleepout

Today I finished my Current Events DLO I had to write about Life wise Big Sleep out it is about helping homeless people and the AUT fundraised about 317,426.80$ for the homeless people that is a lot of money and that fed 500.00 homeless people witch that mad a very big change and it gave the homeless people hope.

This morning I just finished my hover bike DLO me and Paige created this it do's not have that much work because I wanted to make my DLO simple.

Reading Comparison

Yesterday I created a DLO could Reading Comparison. I had to fine the year 7's genres and the year 8's genres. I had to look and fine what book character they like witch book did they like when they were five all sorts of things. The year 8's had most of the things. The year 7's are red the year 8's are blue.

This is my advertising DLO that I and my group made. My group was Calvin, Sajiha, Mya and me. we had a lot of trouble but we got there one person had too write the other three had to run to there paper and read and then come back and tell the story to the person to write it down.

Attributing

Today I did attributing. Attributing means instead of copying it you attribute it so you just search up anything up and go Images and click on tools you go usage rights and labeled for reuse with modification.  

Finding info

Today I played this game called finding Info it is mostly about a spooky literacy game about finding info. You are the saboteur and you need to use all your info finding skills to escape from the tower undetected. Are you up to the challenge.

Deduction

Today I played deduction it is a game where you need use  your deduction skills to read and follow instruction's to make journey's on a map.

Non - Fiction game

Today played a Non - Fiction game it is a game where you need to select an appropriate little, text and picture to suit three non - fiction types of writing: a children's book, a news item and a catalogue entry.

Today I did a Current Events on Ed Sheeran hi got taken to court for stealing Matt Cardle song Ed Sheeran claimed that hi did not steal no song and had nothing to do with it.

Worlds longest pizza

Today I did a can do I searched kiwi kids news and I found this the worlds longest pizza over 400 chefs cooked this and over 1,0000 people eat this it was 1,853.88 meters long.

wallet and gives it to his Dad so they go to fine a policeman and give the wallet to him but Brady was
worried that he will miss the game so he fines the owner of the wallet an go's to watch the rugby game.

Today I read a book could Olly's new bike it is about a little boy named Olly and his mother Paula his mother byes Olly an old crud bike from a garage sale Olly gets mad and starts kicking the bike and crying.

Kyle Mewburn

On Monday Kyle Mewburn came to Panmure Bridge School to tell us how he got into writing stories. He made a book called kiss kiss yuck yuck which is about a boy that keeps getting kissed by his grandma but doesn't like it.

What:Fast food company Domino’s has announced it is about to test robot delivery to New Zealand customers. The company has been working with the Government on a plan to permit robot pizza delivery to hungry New Zealanders.The four-wheeled unit used by domino’s is called DRU (Domino’s Robotic Unit).Minister of Transport Simon Bridges said the use of the robot is an exciting opportunity. New Zealand is one of the first countries in the world being considered for testing autonomous pizza delivery. Why or how it happen:So Domino delivery people do not have to drive everywhere and waste money on gas.

What did you think the author wanted you to learn about? I think that the author wanted me to learn that using robotic machines saves you from spending money on gas or materials for your car.

Today Tuesday I did a can do bast on Dominoes to trial robot delivery I did this because this is very good Dominoes doesn't have to spend money on gas or materials for there cars they cold just send the robot to deliver the pizza.
